Keeley Paige - Pilates Instructor
I was first introduced to Pilates whilst studying for a BA Honours in Dance in 1999. Pilates became an essential element to my training allowing me to improve my overall strength and muscle balance and enhancing my dance technique. During this time I could really feel and see the benefits not only for myself, but also my colleagues who used the technique for rehabilitation purposes.
In 2004 I qualified as a Pilates Instructor teaching mat-work. I have been teaching ever since – teaching both group classes and private clients. I was later introduced to a Pilates studio and have never looked back since. I went on to train with the Pilates Foundation and gained a diploma, enabling me to teach using the apparatus I love using myself so much.
With 10 years experience teaching aerobics, spin and dance, I have a rounded approach to physical fitness - understanding all aspects including sports related, creative movement and a holistic approach.
It is my belief that all aspects of physical fitness should be addressed. The Pilates method allows us to do this offering a challenging yet adaptable form of physical exercise that can benefit everyone and enhance other training regimes.
My personal interest I has lead me to specialize in Pre and Postnatal Pilates, Injury Rehabilitation and Sports Performance. It is this passion that has driven me to open Key Pilates Studio.
Jan Timms - Pilates Instructor
I started practising Pilates in 2002, both Matwork and Studio classes, and almost immediately felt inspired to learn to teach the Pilates technique. With 4 years of experience teaching Matwork, I then went on to complete my training with the Pilates Foundation UK, gaining my diploma in 2010.
I have a strong interest in posture and ergonomics. Having spent many years in a desk based job, I know first hand the benefits Pilates has on the effects of a sedentary lifestyle. My aim is to bring each client greater postural awareness, more strength and flexibility and a feeling of having reached their full potential.
Rosalie Pastrana - Pilates Instructor
Rosalie suffered from numerous backaches while growing up due to Scoliosis. After struggling with different exercise regimes for years she left Spain in 1997 after completing a Degree in Advertising and PR and moved to London to explore how the body works. She came across the Pilates Method while practicing Yoga in London. In no time her back pain receded, replaced by a sense of balance and wellbeing that made her want to study and develop this body movement discipline in depth.
She completed British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course with Barbara Joseph, going on to qualify as a Mat work and Equipment Pilates Foundation Teacher® with Anoushka Boone at Pilates in Motion.
Rosalie is committed to continuous professional development by attending Pilates and Anatomy workshops aimed to enhancing both her teaching and personal practice.
Her classes: Rosalie believes that both physical and emotional pain play a significant role in the way we hold ourselves and love helping others to free their bodies through Pilates, promoting Mind and Body connection, strength and flexibility.
